Student Board Member Candidates
The Student Board Member Election was held on Schoology from April 17 through April 30, 2026. During this time, students were invited to learn about the candidates, understand how to vote, and take part in this important election.
To support their participation, this site offered a variety of resources, including a voter guide and informational videos, designed for Los Angeles Unified students in grades 9 to 12 who are eligible to vote.
We also extend our congratulations to the 11 finalists on their achievement and encourage students to make their voices heard by casting their vote.

How can you play an important role in the Student Board Member Election process?
You can help Los Angeles Unified promote the election by informing eligible students about their opportunity to cast a vote in this year’s Student Board Member Election. To begin, download and print a copy of the Student Board Member Election Toolkit. Then, work with your school administration, ASB, and fellow student leaders to create a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) action plan.
As you carry out your plan, help by hosting opportunities for students to learn about all candidates and arranging voting kiosks at your school site.
